So, I search the drive for a movie file, 'What About Bob', that is not visible in finder. In fact the folder it's in called Comedy is not visible in Finder, lo and behold finder finds the movie file and associated jpg image and displays the results.

In the Movies folder my 'Comedy' folder is not there, so I try to create a new folder called Comedy. I get an error that the folder already exists.

Plugging the drive into a Windows 7 laptop and all files are listed.

Some serious issues here with WD drives and compatibilty with Lion. This drive worked fine with Snow Leopard.
